The Woodland Trust has a huge range of activities and lesson plans about Spring

The Nature Detectives website from the Woodland Trust is a wonderful way to link your lessons to the coming of Spring.  Whether you're teaching a key stage 1 art class, a key stage 2 science class or a key stage 3 or 4 geography class, this website has something for you.  The website is designed to cater for parents, teachers and young people so you may have to search around for the lesson plan you require - although there is a handy schools section.

In the schools section you will find: an Art Competition; downloadable lesson plans; create your own "nature spotter" resource sheets for your class; details of the Green Tree Award Scheme; and details of how you can order free saplings for your school.

All lesson plans and activity sheets can be downloaded free of charge and, considering Spring is finally here, it's a great time to take a look at what The Woodland Trust has to offer.
