Teach Your Pupils About Justice and the Law >

Your Justice Your World provides free Citizenship and PSHE teaching resources

Your Justice Your World is a free Citizenship and PSHE teaching resource for schools in England and Wales and covers the National Curriculum at Key Stage 2, 3 and 4.  The Your Justice Your World website has an extensive Teachers section providing plenty of support, background information and teacher's notes.  There is also an E-Newsletter to sign up for.

The website, aimed at school pupils aged 7 to 16, provides a range of fresh and visually appealing ideas to open up a range of justice-based scenarios and subject areas to learning and discussion.

The activities are situated in a fictitious but realistic UK town, Crownford Rise. The town is populated by a cast of characters who all have dealings with the law as part of their daily lives.

Students interact with their stories and are invited to consider the dilemmas, discuss the issues and voice their opinions on a range of situations covering aspects of criminal, civil and family law.

Similar topics are covered in the 7–11 and 11–16 sections, but at a different level of complexity; students can work at whichever level best suits their ability.
