Join in The Climate Week Challenge March 21st 2011

Monday 28th February 2011

The Climate Week Challenge is a high energy, time-pressured training and educational experience that develops the skills of teamwork, innovation, creativity, planning, presenting and delivering results to a deadline. It also promotes environmental awareness and increases knowledge of sustainability issues. There are different age categories ranging from five year-olds to adults.

The challenge is designed for teams of four to six. Any organisation can enter any number of teams, for FREE! No preparation is required – a table to work at is all each team needs.

There are three different ways to take part in the Climate Week Challenge:

Climate Week Challenge – one day

The Climate Week Challenge takes one day, and will be held on Monday 21st March. Tens of thousands of people will take part simultaneously all over the UK.

Mini Challenge – one hour

The Mini Challenge takes one hour, and can be completed at anytime during Climate Week.
One Minute Challenge

The One Minute Challenge can take as little as one minute (or a few minutes, if you prefer). It can be completed at any time during Climate Week.

All three versions of the Climate Week Challenge have information packs explaining how you can easily run them in your school, workplace or community group. The actual challenge will be revealed on the Climate Week website at 9am on Monday 21 March – the first day of Climate Week. The deadline for registration is the 15th March.
