Providing free innovative curriculum-linked teaching resources for primary and secondary schools

The BP Educational Service produces and distributes innovative curriculum-linked educational resources for primary and secondary schools. All the resources are developed with practising teachers and other educational experts.  Free resources available include:

YSI Energy Interactive Posters - whiteboard friendly interactive with videos, worksheets, activities.

Carbon Footprint Toolkit - teaches 11-16s about carbon emissions and their impacts, choices for carbon reduction and alternative energy supplies.

Young Science Investigators: Our Environment - helps pupils aged 7-11 learn about their environment while developing their investigative science skills. 

Science at Work - provides real world science for 14-16 year olds. 

The Enterprise Trading Game - a fast paced and competitive whole class activity enables students to compete in teams in a simulated trading environment. Clear notes for teachers on how to manage it are included.

Teachers can also register on the site for free and gain the ability to store information for future download or orders.  BPES also provides a dedicated, fast and friendly response service for teachers, students, parents, BP employees and, in fact, anyone, anywhere with an enquiry about BP. They constantly monitor and assess both their service and resources and would appreciate any feedback on how BPES could be more effective in helping you.
