z The Literacy Club >

Printed magazines and free on-screen primary literacy resources for use in school and at home.

The Literacy Club produces a wide range of cross-curricular literacy resources, texts, games and activities for the 5 to 7 and 7 to 11 age range. There are many free resources on their website, including stories, poems, non-fiction texts, interactive literacy games and activities and many are on topical themes such as Christmas and Bonfire Night as well as cross-curricular themes like The Vikings or Weather. The resources are supported by downloadable Activity Sheets, Teachers Notes and Ideas for parents. The website is organised into Zones - with areas for Teachers, Parents and Children - and there is a special Author Zone where you can find out about TLC Authors and hear about the latest literacy resources on the market.

The Literacy Club magazines - TLC Teacher and TLC Kids - offer a stunning range of texts to use in the classroom and at home, plus feature articles and literacy news - all written by a top team of authors, including Childrens Laureate Anthony Browne and Taffy Thomas, MBE, who is the nations first Laureate for Storytelling.
