The PDSA website, PDSA Schools aims to provide teaching resources and lesson plan suggestions for a wide range of learning levels and subjects across the curricula for England, Scotland and Wales. The resources cater for both Primary and Secondary pupils up to key stage 3 and are centred around pet ownership and care and a study of vetinary practice.
Primary resources are imaginative and interactive with games for key stage 1 pupils and interactive questions and videos for key stage 2 pupils. In one particularly interesting resource teachers can take pupils inside a PDSA PetAid hospital via a virtual tour and introduce them to PDSA vets and nurses, who provide pet care and careers advice through PDSA PetCats - online videos filmed specifically for use in the classroom.
Secondary resources for key stage 2 are linked to Citizenship, English, History and Science curricula and include comprehensive lesson planning packs.
Throughout the site they have used the common terms Primary and Secondary to indicate the key learning levels.
