Designed specially to help 7 to 11 year olds express themselves creatively through art, music and literacy, Tales from the Glovebox provides:

  • A teachers area with great class and homework resources, interactive whiteboard games, audio extracts from the Puffin Classic range of books (including Alice in Wonderland, White Fang, Five Children and It and the Jungle Book) lesson plans, activity sheets and videos from young author and illustrators. There is also an area to provide feedback and by doing do you could win a box full of Puffin books for your class.
  • A pupil area with a Magic Quest competition where they can create their own characters, discover great stories, answer questions to win a family trip to Disney Land Paris. The deadline for entries is 19th August. There are also fun games and videos.

We have already had great feedback from teachers so far and achieved a five-star rating on TES online:

"A very useful set of lessons plans and resources. The website is excellent and I used lessons from all 3 areas: English, Art and Music. The resources link right across the curriculum too."

"A really good, ready to use and completely free resource which uses the creative curriculum to link literacy with the arts. Lots of free lesson plans, what a great website!"
