Education packs
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has a range of free education resources designed to help education professionals to deliver the National Curriculum from Foundation Stage to Key Stage 4, in a fun and creative way.Working with Educational Professionals, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has developed two education CDROM packs: Let’s Learn with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, for Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2 and the Enterprise Challenge, for Key Stages 3 and 4. They are designed to provide unique, flexible lessons and activities which teachers can easily include in their timetable. Both packs include navigable PDFs, print resources, teachers notes, background notes, introductory films and image libraries.
Talks and tours
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home offers educational talks about the Home for schools and other organised groups. The talks, by experienced Battersea Dogs & Cats Home staff, can be held at your organisation or at one of our Battersea sites.For Parents and Teachers
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home have developed some great resources to use with young people that educate them about looking after dogs and cats and how to stay safe around them. They all include lots of great pictures and are bright, colourful and easy to understand. Brilliant resources!
I just had to write to thank you for the wonderful resources that you have on your site to download. I teach pupils with ALN in a secondary school & the Literacy Project has proved to be a real asset to my teaching day. Thank you
