These cards are ideal to introduce children's rights and responsibilities

Download these illustrated ‘want’ or ‘need’ cards and cut and stick them onto card first. Then follow the lesson plan guidance from Unicef to show aspects of life that pupils have to decide is either a ‘want’ or a ‘need’. Follow on with recognition that ‘needs’ are also ‘rights’. (Then tell them chips are off the menu.)
