DK Clip Art is an immensely useful online resource. It contains a range of images that can be downloaded. They can be used to illustrate worksheets, create displays or add visual images to interactive whiteboard presentations and activities. The selection of images can also be used by children in their own topic or project. The images cover a wide range of curriculum areas and this makes the website an ideal place for children to visit in school and at home as part of their learning.
Children or teachers can collect images as part of a project created online before downloading to a PC desktop. Alternatively, images can be downloaded directly to a PC desktop.
The project tool is an excellent resource as children can collect images and select page templates to add written text. This is something that can be achieved within school or at home with ease. A video is available to support making a project.
