Macmillan Cancer Support
Resources aimed at teachers to discuss cancer with their pupils
Learning and Teaching Resources
The Cancertalk website is Macmillan’s resource guide for teachers and youth group leaders - a one stop shop to provide you with all the information, support and resources you need to talk about cancer with children and young people.
The site includes:
- electronic versions of Macmillan’s two free teaching packs, including Welsh-language versions. The packs link to all UK curriculums and there are differentiated activities and resource sheets for pupils aged 7-16
- advice on supporting a pupil with cancer in your school
- personal stories from young people, parents and teachers affected by cancer.
Visit their website to find out more.
