Enhance Your Career, CV & Expertise with a CPD Course for Teachers

Continuing Professional Development courses are courses that are offered by a wide range of organisations and corporate businesses to people in various careers. For teachers, this means that businesses will offer a CPD programme that they can offer expertise in, resulting in the teacher having their own expertise in the subject. Companies such as the Institute of Education offer comprehensive programmes; theirs is focused on the Holocaust and the teaching of it. They also offer free teaching resources for those present on their course.

The programmes are designed with the goal of a certificate of completion or the acquiring of continuing education units (CEU), with the outcome being they are recognised for their extra knowledge and training. Such recognition can be beneficial to teachers’ CVs when they apply for a new job, as the prospective new employer can see what training and further education that applicant has undertaken.

CPD courses are available for a whole range of subjects and topics for teachers, such as ICT, Science and Geography, all of which you will find resources for here. Teachers will greatly benefit from attending CPD courses, as will the students who are then taught with their newly-gained expertise!
