Diplomas are available in a range employment industries and sectors, including engineering and travel and tourism. They can serve as an alternative to specific subjects. In place of subjects, the educational classes that teach diploma students follow guidelines for a broader-ranging area, and isn’t subject or job-specific. This means that students completing a diploma will learn certain skills as well as maths, English and ICT, which will enable them to find work but not restricting them to one opportunity.
Diplomas are present at different levels of education, such as foundation diplomas and advanced diplomas, which serve as alternative qualifications to GCSEs and A-Levels. There is also an option to extend that into even higher studies with diplomas of higher education or postgraduate diplomas, which are equivalent to bachelor degrees.
You will find a collection of resources that will aid diploma teachers in the classroom, as well as some materials that can act as teaching resources that link to other areas of study.
