The Saatchi Gallery provides workshops, educational packs and visits to Art & Design Secondary School teachers and students.

Learning and Teaching Resources

Art & Design KS3 and KS4 resources by The Saatchi Gallery has provided schools with downloadable teaching packs to support the study of famous paintings. Along with Peter Doig’s are those of Marlene Dumas, Jorg Immendorff, Luc Tuymans plus many more.

Teaching Packs and Visits

The teaching packs explore art themes for discussion, provide insight into artists’ practice and suggest related activities to consolidate learning. You can also book a school visit to the museum, and find out what events they have coming up too.

There are separate teaching resources for Art & Design KS3 & KS4 including a lesson plan and activity for Jitish Kallat – Public Notice.

Children's Work Online

Your children’s work can be posted online and entered in to the gallery’s own competitions, where prizes can be won!

This website is easy to use and is full of interesting pictures, facts and information. They do also prove teaching packs for KS1 & KS2 Art & Design also.
