Basic but essential warm up and cool down ideas. Try role-play in which pupils must act out being a farmer trying to catch their sheep or the classic “Stuck in the mud” where chasers must tag others, who then have to stand still with their legs and arms splayed for another runner to crawl under their legs to release them. Great fun!
